vintage Must de Cartier 21, a definitive watch introduced in the mid-1980s to capture a younger, sportier audience while retaining Cartier’s classic luxury identity. The "21" moniker was selected to represent a forward-looking design intended for the 21st century. It boldly subverted traditional watch aesthetics by transforming the circular-brushed stainless steel bezel itself into the dial, engraving it with striking, 18k gold-plated Roman numerals. This design choice leaves the central, light silver-grey inner dial exceptionally clean and minimalist, decorated only with the historic "must de Cartier" script and signature sword-shaped hands crafted from tempered blued steel.
